Q1. I WANT TO ENTER A TEAM, WHAT COMPETITION SHOULD I ENTER?

Details about the standard of competitions are available on the information pages in the rugby and netball areas of the website. 


If you require further information please call the office on 01202 545630 and our team can advise you on what competition is the right standard for your team.

Q2. WHEN DOES THE FESTIVAL OPEN?

The festival is open for campers from Friday 1st June. 


The car park and campsite opens from 2pm


The festival opens to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 9am


The main festival arena closes at 1am

Q3. ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS AT THE FESTIVAL?

The Bournemouth Sevens is a family friendly event during the day, however from 8pm all under 18s must be off site. Under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old, and all Under 10s go FREE if accompanied by a ticket holding adult. The Kopparberg Campsite is only available for over 18s.

Q4. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO BOURNEMOUTH SEVENS?

The festival is easily accessible by road, lies next to Bournemouth Airport and is just a short taxi ride from the main travel hub in Bournemouth town centre. A number of taxi partners operate to and from our onsite taxi rank. There will also be a shuttle bus running from 10am on Saturday and Sunday.

Q5. IS THERE ANY DISABLED PROVISION AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes, the Bournemouth Sevens is able to make provisions for some disabilities on site however we require notification in advance of the festival. Bournemouth Sevens offers free tickets for carers if booked in advance. 


If you require specific disabled parking provision please contact the B7s team on 01202 545630 no later than Friday 18th May 2012.

Q6. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS AND PLAYING SCHEDULE?

Your tickets will be sent out to the team captain 2 weeks before the festival and will have to be signed for on delivery. 


You will receive your tournament schedule in the festival programme at team registration. 

Q7. WHAT FACILITIES ARE THERE ON SITE?

The Bournemouth Sevens festival has everything you will need over the weekend onsite to minimise hassle. There are a range of boutique caterers, a festival shop, 24-hour cash machines, and more showers and toilets than ever before.

Q8. CAN I BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE FESTIVAL?

No, the Bournemouth Sevens Festival takes place on sports grounds so no glass or cans are permitted on site. 


Bags will be checked on entry into the festival and only alcohol that is purchased in the arena can be consumed there. Anyone caught drinking their own alcohol will be asked to leave and have their wristbands taken away.


Q9. WHAT DO I DO IF I LOSE SOMETHING AT THE FESTIVAL?

Lost and found property is recorded and held at the Information Point which is open from 10am - 6pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 10am - 12pm on Monday.

Q10. CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE GATE?

Yes, weekend admission tickets will be available at the gate however these will be more expensive than if bought in advance. Please note Camping, VIP and V.VIP ticket options will not be available as they will sell out in advance.


We therefore recommend that you buy tickets in advance from Ticketmaster or the Bournemouth International Centre. All tickets are non-refundable.
